Dr. Matthew Kingston (Dentist)
Dr. Matthew Kingston received a B.S. with Honors in Biology from the University of Richmond in Virginia in 1996 and the Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree with Honors from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2001. He initially entered private practice in the Philadelphia area and has been a Lancaster dentist since 2005.
Dr. Kingston has pursued advanced training in many disciplines of dentistry, including endodontics (root canal therapy), porcelain veneers, bonding, porcelain crowns, tooth colored fillings and the restoration of dental implants, and has been a Certified Invisalign® Provider since 2003. He recently completed over 130 hours of coursework and training at the prestigious Scottsdale Center for Dentistry in Arizona, where he had the opportunity to train with some of the most celebrated dental practitioners in the country. Dr. Kingston is a member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Pennsylvania Dental Association, The Lancaster Dental Society and The Lancaster County Dental Implant Study Club.
Dr. Kingston's vision for Healthy Smiles Dental is to serve the dental
needs of the Lancaster community and to provide comprehensive,
personalized care for his patients, while educating them about the
strong link between maintaining good oral health and long-term overall
health. In addition to the practice of dentistry, Dr. Kingston enjoys
spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife are dedicated
runners who have enjoyed a daily run together since 1993. He is an active
member in his church and participates enthusiastically in the activities
of his three sons.

Shelly Hanna (Office Manager)
Shelly was born and raised in Lancaster County. She started working in the dental field shortly after graduating the Dental Assisting program at Lancaster County and Career Technology Center in 2004. Upon graduation she accepted a position as a Dental Assistant for a practice in Chester County. She worked there for seven years as a Dental Assistant, Hygiene Assistant, Hygiene Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant. Accumulating skills from each department helped her to understand dentistry from all aspects. It is her goal to explain treatment to patients and take the extra time to answer any questions you may have. She loves dentistry and learning something new every day. Shelly strives to make every patient feel welcome during their visit and feel like family. She looks forward to meeting you at your next visit and helping you in any way that she can.
On a personal note, Shelly enjoys her time with her husband and thier son, born in March of 2011. She enjoys reading when she has a chance and catching a good movie with a friend. Shelly is very passionate about animals, especially her cats and a pet rabbit that she loves dearly.
Shannon McLauchlan, RDH (Dental Hygienist)
Never leaving far from her roots, Shannon now resides in Lancaster County with her husband. She is a 2000 graduate from Harcum College and brings with her experience in dealing with complex cases and periodontal management.
Shannon enjoys helping her patients achieve healthy results by educating her patients with the latest research and using the latest technology to make your visit the best dental experience you've had.
On a personal note, Shannon's obsessions are: cupcakes, anything in pretty packaging and photography. Her very special friend is their Toy Poodle, Remy LeBeau.
Chloe Plank (Dental Assistant)
Chloe is a native of Lancaster County. She was raised in Leola and attended Conestoga Valley High School. Following high school, Chloe attended YTI to pursue a career in dental assisting.
One of Chloe’s greatest strengths is making the patient experience as positive as possible, and she is able to accomplish this due to her outgoing and friendly personality.
On a personal level, Chloe and her husband, Michael, live in Leola. They enjoy traveling, doing outdoor activities and just spending time together.
Jamie Richards (Patient Advocate)
Jamie graduated from Keystone Technical Institute in 2007 with her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting (EFDA) degree. Since that time Jamie has worked as an EFDA in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
After recently having her first child in August of 2011, Jamie decided to expand her skills by taking on the role of Patient Advocate and Hygiene Coordinator for Healthy Smiles Dental.
Jamie and her husband reside in Mt. Joy. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, trying new recipes and spending weekends at Raystown Lake with her family.
Emily Yinger (Expanded Function Dental Assistant)
Emily grew up in Willow Street. She attended Penn Manor High School and decided to pursue a career in dentistry because she enjoys working with people and making a difference in the health of patients. She graduated from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center with a certificate in dental assisting in 2011. Emily really enjoys interacting with our patients and helping make your dental visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
On a personal level, Emily enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with close friends and family.
